Shades of Gray

Hello! I can not believe that we are reaching the final days of January already! Man has this month has flown by! I recently have been overwhelmed with how beautiful California’s mid-winter sunny days are and judging by the news reports, how the rest of the country is experiencing a gray sky, snow falling, freezing your patootie off kind of winter!  This got me thinking about shades of gray in interiors… maybe 60 days straight of gray skies might feel like torture, but inside it can really add warmth, peace, and tranquility!

Notice how dramatic the dark charcoal ceiling and casings are!

I know that this is more of a slate blue, but I added it anyway… isn’t this a great powder room??

P.S. That crown molding is one of my favorites… it looks good in literally EVERY color!
